Things are going pretty well down in DC.
I'm counting down the days until I'm done with retail, which is kind of hard because I don't know exactly when I'll be done, just that it will be sometime in the next month.
Eco-Green Lawn Services is named and legal! Now we are working on getting buisness cards, flyers and a web site up. Our test lawns have been started. I have fertalizer in my guest bedroom.
First Notes Acadamy has been named, but that's as far as I'm going to go until I'm done at Middle C.
The dace recital is coming up. I've progressed from looking completly silly to looking like an average adult student. Still a far cry from looking like a dancer, but neither does anyone else and I'm having fun even if I havn't lost any weight.
My entire family and Kendra's entire family is coming down for the recital. While they are down we will be have the "Taylor birthday extravaganza!"- a joint party for me, Ian and Kara. I have no idea what I'm going to plan for this.
For Memorial day I'm going up to NYC to visit Kara! We are going to see a show (Spamalot is our default, but we are hoping to get discounted tickets to Wicked, Spring Awakening, Putnum County, or Avenue Q). I'll be in the city for three days, and it's over Kara's birthday, so I don't know what else we are going to do. It will be nice to spent that time with Kara though.
The same weekend Luke will be going up to my parents house to help my Mom landscape her yard (for the first time ever). I love my husband.
My student recital's are coming up. I have so many students with so many conflicts that I'm have two recitals. One on Saturday May 31st and one on June 4th. The kid's solos are really coming together. I have two drumset duets that I'm super exited about!
Last quote was from Empire Records- so congratulations Dena. This one should be ubber-easy because it's on a commercial for the movie.
